The OG saddle pad is made from top-quality materials and is designed to be both firm and durable, while simultaneously offering the breathability that is expected from the OG design.

Average/normal-withered horses that enjoy participating in a number of Western disciplines can benefit from the 1″ OG Wool Saddle Pad, while round back horses should be saddled with the 3/4″ OG Wool Saddle Pad. From performance horses to seasoned trail experts, the OG collection is built for comfort, shock absorption and moisture wicking capabilities.

Our OG Collection has been the core of the company since 2002. This top-quality 100% needle-punched wool pad is 112 ounces per square yard, making it firm, durable and breathable. This pad is dark gray in color, and comes in several thickness options, to best suit your needs.

Pad Thickness and Recommended Use

1″ Wool Pad
All around work and play pad for normal-average withered horses. Recommended for barrel racers, team ropers, trail riders, team penners, cutters, reiners, colt starters and performance horses.

3/4″ Wool Pad
Designed for round back horses. Recommended for barrel racers, trailer riders, team penners, cutters and reiners.

• Everyday work/ranch/arena performance: We would suggest our 1″ OG Wool Saddle Pad.
• Barrel racing/gymkhana. If your horse is more round back, we would suggest our 3/4″ OG Wool Saddle Pad.
• Average withers: If your horse has average withers, we would suggest our 1″ OG Wool Saddle Pad.
• Team roping/ranch rodeo. We would suggest our 1″ OG Wool Saddle Pad
