If you are a horseman/horsewoman you know one thing. We don’t do it to get rich, financially speaking. We participate because we love the sport. We love the western life and we in some way are part of a small circle keeping a long standing tradition alive. The evolution of the sport, the horse power, the past down knowledge is the bit of legacy we will leave in the history books.
We are generations of cowboys and cowgirls pushing the line and creating a better future for the entire industry. From barrel horses to calf horses. From rough stock to bull dogging steers. Breeding to Feed programs and the next veterinary breakthroughs. We are all a part of this. We are the keepers of the flame.
We create the lifestyle and live for it everyday. Some call may call us crazy and others may envy us. We know the importance of keeping the Western way of Life alive. Day in and day out we do it because of the crazy love, no matter how much it may humble us.
We find the peace and serenity when we build the connection with our livestock and when when we see our next generation following along so closely. The feeling we get when we lock the gate at the end of the day is fulfilling and irreplaceable. That is why the flame will stay alive in our hearts for the next day and on.
