Katie Pascoe is a west coast native barrel racer, competing on the pro circuit with her horse “Naughty.” They both rely on Best Ever Pads to keep them safely and securely moving on the rodeo road.
“I have been using Best Ever Pads for over 10 years. They are extremely well-made, durable, and dependable. The saddle pad I’m using right now is the 3/4″ Kush Wool Pad,” Pascoe said, “My horse, Naughty, has a really wide back, and with this saddle pad my saddle doesn’t roll or slip.”
Pascoe’s favorite rodeo memory thus far was winning her hometown rodeo in Santa Maria this past year. Her advice for all is to stay positive and keep your chin up, even when there is negative energy around you.
“Rodeo is full of ups and downs. It’s easy to get discouraged when things don’t seem to be going right. In my experience, it’s been very important to stay focused, remain positive, and remember how lucky we are to do what we love. We can always find something to complain about, but from my observations, the people who find success most often are the ones who refuse to be affected by negative factors and situations.”
