2019 is in full swing and our team has been taking names!
Lacey Lockhard started her year with a bang, winning the RHCC 1-D Open Barrel Race.
Andy Holcomb won the heading class at the Red Bluff Bull and Gelding Sale.
Justin Thigpen won the IPRA Tie-Down and Steer Wrestling titles.
Cody Snow and Wesley Thorp won second in the second round and second in the average in Waco, TX. The pair won a total of just over $3900 to start the new year.
Meanwhile in Odessa, Texas:
Team Roping average went to Dustin Egusquiza and Kory Koontz winning $2854.
At the Columbia River Circuit Finals Team Roping round one went to Riley and Brady Minor winning $1592.
Round two went to Colton Campbell and his partner Phoenix Everano.
The average went to Brooks Dahozy and partner Quade Patzike winning $3288.
The Montana Pro Rodeo Circuit Finals Team Roping round one went to Cal Fuller and Jerren Johnson. The pair also won second in the average pocketing $2592 per man.
In Wauchula, Florida:
Quinn Campbell won the Steer Wrestling title earning $940.
Team rider, Kathy Grimes, leads the barrel racing in Rapid City, SD. With a 12.72. She also had the lead in Lake Charles, LA with a time of 15.00.
Then in Fort Worth, Texas:

Huge congratulations to Abigayle Hampton on winning the Wildfire “Rope Like a Girl” breakaway roping.
Eli Lord takes the All-Around win in Rapid City, SD winning over $3200 in the team roping and steer wrestling combine. The team roping title went to Clayton Van Aken and his partner Cullen Teller.
Kathy Grimes pocketed $4646 winning the barrel racing in Rapid City, SD. She went on to win Lake Charles, raking in another $1408. Grimes also placed in Jackson and Belmont helping kickstart her 2019 year.
Cody Cabral took the All-Around and Steer Wrestling win in Yuma, AZ. Right behind Cabral in the steer wrestling was team rider, Bear Pascoe, earning himself nearly $700 to add to his standings. Team rider Clint Harry also took the win in the team roping in Yuma with partner Jason Thorstenson. The pair won $1740 per man.
Fort Worth Stock Show and rodeo team rider, Travis Woodard, wins second in the team roping average and pocketed over $8000 between the rounds as well.
Sydni Blanchard won the first round and placed in the second round of Fort Worth in her Best Ever Pad and earned herself over $6000.
Dixie National Rodeo in Jackson, MS crowned Clayton Biglow the Bareback Riding Champion for $3753.
San Antonio Rodeo has been dominated by Best Ever team riders. In Bracket 1 Jacob Talley won the first round in the steer wrestling pocketing $2500. Talley has won a total of $5000 going into the semifinals.
Bracket 1, round one, team roping was won by Garrett Tonozzi and partner Dustin Davis winning $2500 each. Third round went to Best Ever team Steven Duby and Justin Davis.
Bracket 2 of the team roping, JR Dees and Cody Cowden picked up a second-place check in round one for $2000 per man. The second round was won by Spencer Mitchell and Cody Doescher winning $2500 per man. Round three went to Dustin Egusquiza and Kory Koontz for $2500 a man.
Bracket 3, round one, Cody Snow and Wesley Thorp earned $2000 per man for second in the round.
In the Tie Down Roping, Ryle Smith, has swept up a check in every go round for a total so far of $4375.
