Dalton Pearce is a west coast cowboy from San Luis Obispo, California. He competes in the team roping as a heeler on his horse “Butters”.
He and his bay wonder took home the championship at the 2016 Pendleton Roundup with partner Ryan Reed.
Butters also took home the Heel Horse of the Pendleton Roundup award.
Despite this great accomplishment, Dalton remains humble and says that his favorite memory was winning his first PRCA check.
“Never give up,” he said.
This mentality helped him not only secure the Pendleton championship, but also the Resistol Rookie of the Year award in the heeling.
Dalton and Butters rely on Best Ever Pads to keep them going as they vye for a spot at the 2017 National Finals Rodeo in Las Vegas.
“I have always really liked how the pads both look and fit my horses,” he said.
