I ride all three of my horses in Best Ever Pads and all three pads were built differently to properly fit each horse,” Yates said, “Whether you want painted, tooled, pink or [crocodile] skin, its pretty cool that you can create a pad to match your own style! And on top of that, you won’t find nicer people to help you out.”
Yates has been hard at work running barrels and traveling to jackpot ropings, gathering memories along the way.
“There [have] been so many it would be hard to just pick one [favorite],” Yates said, “I’ve been running barrels and heading off of the same horse lately, so it’s been pretty fun to go to a jackpot roping and win some money then go to a PRCA rodeo a couple days later and place in the barrel racing!”
With experience, comes words of wisdom. Yates’ advice is to “always keep learning and improving horsemanship.”
