Best Ever Team Rider Highlights
Congratulations to team rider Tom Richards and new wife Rachel!
Lane Santos Karney won the All-Around in Bakersfield, California. Earning over $1,800 in the Team Roping and Tie-Down Roping. He also won Hayward, California with partner Todd Hampton. The team won $1793 per man.
Cody Snow and Wesley Thorp won the average and pocketed over $4300 a man in Guymon, Oklahoma. The team also won the first round in Vernon, Texas.
Doyle Hoskins had back to back All-Around wins in Riverdale and Stonyford, California.
Chant Deforest had back to back All-Around wins in Sonora and Woodlake, California.
Lita Scott placed third at the Mother Lode Roundup in Sonora, California.
Jordan Ketscher pocketed over $4,000 in Redding, California for the All-Around win.
The Team Roping at the Redding Rodeo was split three ways among Best Ever team riders Brushton Minton, Aaron Macy & Wyatt Cox and Jake Minor.
Justin Thigpen won the Tie-Down Roping in Clarksville, Tennessee.
Ramona, California Team Roping win went to Best Ever cowboys JR Dees and Cody Cowden.
Kris Gadbois won the Barrel Racing in Valley Center, California. She also placed third in Ramona, winning over $1,100.
Pete Oen has been rocking the futurity world with his superstar colts. Oen won the Sandcup Futurity, the VGBRA Futurity and the Don Johnson Sales Futurity!
Abigail Knecht won the 3D average at the Sherry Cervi Youth Championships on her horse Pearl.
Congratulations to all who competed at the California Jr High School Rodeo Finals:
Mason Polhemus won the state in the Team Roping rocking his Best Ever Pad on his horse Izzy.
Katelyn Browder is headed to Nationals in the Team Roping and Breakaway, winning 4th in both events. Sister, Delaney Browder won 3rd in the Team Roping on the head side.
Gavin Lopez is your 2018 Boys’ Goat Tying Champion.
Best Ever riders dominated the West Coast National Intercollegiate Rodeo Association region:
Brushton Minton won the year end Reserve All-Around and Team Roping as well as the champion Tie-Down and Steer Wrestling titles.
Abigayle Hampton also won the Women’s Reserve All-Around and the Breakaway title.
Dalton Pearce won the region in the Team Roping.
Cayden Cox ended up third in the region.
Taylor Rivera won fourth and a spot to the College Finals in the Barrel Racing.
